Since July 2004, David Herriott has provided his artistic direction and expertise to Columbus Ballet as the Executive Artistic Director. His experience includes early intensive training at the Harkness Ballet School under the tutelage of David Howard. Dancing professionally as a principle soloist, he has tourd internationally with Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet and the North Carolina Dance Theatre, working with noted choreographers such as Agnes de Mille, John Neumeier, Norbert Vesak and Elliot Feld. He has also performed with internationally renowned dancers like Mikhail Baryshnikov, Gelsey Kirkland, Galina and Valerie Panov, and Evelyn Hart. Some of Mr. Herriott's former students have been invited to study with Alvin Ailey, ABT Joffrey, Harid Conservatory, Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet and the Alabama Ballet.
